We often get asked during the daily course of our piano tuning service if we know of anyone selling a piano, or anyone who might be interested in buying their piano. It didn’t take long to realize that playing matchmaker for these people go naturally together with the other piano services we provide.
Over time, we realized that we could blend that with our expertise and knowledge of pianos, and our passion for fine quality instruments, which eventually led to the creation of The PianoBroker.

Not only that, we arrange everything needed for the exchange, from showing the piano and managing the sale, to moving and tuning. All the pianos we broker are owned by private individuals. If you are looking to purchase a piano in the Chicago area, and would like to see and play a particular instrument, we would be happy to show it to you by appointment. Or if you are the owner of a high quality piano we can make the process of selling it for you a safe and simple process.
